Welcome to the Hamilton Singers Website

In December 2009, negotiations began with Dr Jonathon Welch to visit Hamilton to work with Hamilton Singers and present a concert with his choir, The Choir of Hope and Inspiration (formerly The Choir of Hard Knocks).
We were so fortunate that he was able to fit Hamilton in to his busy schedule, en route to a concert performance in Adelaide.

Hamilton Singers hosted the visit, arranging accommodation and meals for the choir, staff and their volunteer helpers - a total group of 50.

Held at St Marys Church, Hamilton, Jonathon led an inspiring and fascinating workshop with our choir during the afternoon. This was followed by a hugely successful evening concert with both choirs performing for an audience of around 500, which filled the church.

We look forward to working with him again in 2011, at his suggestion.
